Alice Clarke
Private View; Thursday 29th March 6-9pm
Exhibition to run throughout of April

Alice will be exhibiting a selection of recent work, featuring local maps, typographic posters and bold, geometric patterns and prints, inspired by East London.

All prints and works will be available to purchase.

After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2007, Alice has worked as a freelance graphic designer for the past decade, for a diverse range of clients including Costa, V&A, Dirty Martini, Fire & Stone, Feminist Review and Art UK. Although specialising in branding, her work takes many forms, from wallpaper to blackboards, websites to windows, usually with an emphasis on typography and pattern.

Originally hailing from the rural Midlands, Alice moved to London 13 years ago, finally making the move from Hackney to Forest Gate in 2014, where she has been slowly renovating a Victorian terrace.

Usually too consumed with DIY to embark on self-directed work, after co-founding the E7 Craft Collective with four friends and creating a digitally-drawn map of the local area, she became inspired to experiment and create more work inspired by East London and her love for food, music and design.
